What Lingo.Tips is

Lingo.Tips is a catalogue of original songs made for one purpose: teaching languages. Every track is written for a CEFR level (A1 to C2), with vocabulary and structures chosen on purpose, and reaches you with word-by-word synced lyrics and a translation aligned line by line.

We do not catalogue third-party music. Everything you hear here was produced for the method.

How the method works

First you listen while the lyrics follow along. Each word lights up at the exact moment it is sung, so sound and spelling land together — that is what stops the habit of memorising a written form you cannot recognise when spoken.

Then you understand through the aligned translation. Every line has its counterpart in a language you already know, on the same row and in the same order. You are not translating word by word: you see the meaning of the whole line and infer the rest.

Finally you retain it through repetition. The chorus comes back several times within a song, and the verse loop lets you repeat a hard passage as often as you need, slowed down if that helps. Repetition you enjoy is what separates studying from listening.

Transparency about artificial intelligence

Lingo.Tips songs are produced with the help of artificial intelligence. Lyrics are generated from a pedagogical brief, audio is synthesised, and translation and synchronisation also go through automated models.

None of it ships on its own. Every step is humanly curated: lyrics are reviewed for level and correctness, the audio is picked among discarded takes, the translation is checked line by line and the timing is adjusted by hand when needed. A song is only published after a person approves it.

We would rather say this on the first page than let you find out later.
